The John Russell Applegate Scholarship supports residents of west central Nebraska who are continuing their post-secondary education in the field of education. College juniors or seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in education, as well as current teachers seeking additional credentials, certifications, or advanced degrees that support K–12 education, are encouraged to apply.
