Jon A. Schlueter County Teacher Scholarship

About the Scholarship

The Jon A. Schlueter County Teacher Scholarship program is available to current teachers at the Hancock County Educational Service Center or one of the eight local high schools in Hancock County, Ohio. Applicants seeking a master's or doctorate degree in a field of study for which the applying teacher is certified to teach or can be certified to teach upon completion of the degree are encouraged to apply. Preference is given to employed teachers who display the following qualities: enthusiasm, energy, creativity, a positive attitude, diligence, thorough preparation for classroom teaching, good communication skills with students, are motivational, are professional with peers, parents, and administration, and display and project characteristics of becoming an outstanding teacher.
