Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Modesto and planning to enroll full-time at a 2- or 4-year college or university in any state in a program that leads to a teaching degree.
  • Applicants must submit transcripts that include (if they plan to attend a 4year school) SAT and/or ACT scores, a letter of recommendation from a teacher, and a 500-word essay on why their educational goal is to earn a teaching degree.
  • Selection is based on academic accomplishment during high school and personal characteristics.
