Requirements

This program is open to residents of New Jersey and students attending a college or university in that state.

Applicants must be full or part-time undergraduate or graduate students preparing to become a teacher of the sciences (biology, chemistry, engineering, environmental studies, mathematics, or physics) in elementary, junior high, or high school.

Qualified degreed persons enrolled in a teaching certification program via "Alternate Route" processes are also eligible.

Selection is based on academic performance, merit, academic ability, and demonstrated interest in the environment.
