Requirements
  • This program is open to students entering their junior or senior year in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear-related field at an accredited institution in the United States.
  • Applicants must be focusing on the technical disciplines involved in nuclear plant instrumentation, controls, and humanmachine interface technologies in the context of nuclear power or other nuclear engineering specific applications.
  • They must be members of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) and sponsored by the faculty adviser of an ANS student chapter or an individual ANS member, but they may be citizens of any country.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement.
