Joseph W. Manganaro Scholarship provides financial assistance to students from New Jersey interested in working on an undergraduate degree in a field related to environmental protection and/or water resources.

Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools or technical schools in New Jersey and to students currently enrolled full-time at a college or university in the state.
  • Applicants must be interested in working on an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or environmental science, or other wastewaterrelated studies such as biology or chemistry or a certificate program in a vocational field related to the wastewater industry (e.g., electrical maintenance, electronics, welding, heavy equipment operation, systems technology).
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • A sponsor, who is a member of the New Jersey Water Environment Association, preferably its South Section, must nominate them.
