Requirements
  • The program is open to high school seniors with gap year students entering college in the following fall.
  • Applicants must have an immediate family member who is part of the foreign affairs agency community and belongs to AAFSW. They must submit a list of all volunteer activities in which they have participated in high school, including any significant achievements, awards, or recognition.
  • They also must submit a 500word essay describing which of those activities has been most significant for them and why.
