Julie Thompson Memorial Steer Wrestling Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in Nebraska who have participated in steer wrestling events at rodeos and plan to attend college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors who are graduating from high schools in Nebraska and planning to enroll full-time at a college, university, or trade school in any state.

Applicants must have participated in steer wrestling events at the Nebraska State High School Rodeo.

They must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
