The Juniper Rose Prete Memorial Scholarship supports students attending California State University, Chico. Undergraduate and graduate students studying journalism (public relations or news option) or recreation, hospitality, and parks management are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given in the following order: campus involvement in The Orion student newspaper, involvement in Associated Students’ Adventure Outings or other outdoor recreation organizations, or expressed personal involvement in outdoor recreation.
