Requirements

This program is open to 1) students enrolled full-time in a California BRN-approved program for an associate degree in nursing (A.D.N.), bachelor of science in nursing (B.S.N.), or entry-level master of science in nursing (M.S.N./M.N.); 2) residents of California enrolled in a CCNE-accredited postgraduate master of science in nursing (M.S.N./M.N.) or doctoral program in nursing (Ph.D./D.N.Sc./D.N.P.).

Applicants must have a GPA of 3.8 or higher as a prelicensure student, 3.5 or higher as a registered nurse working on a master's or doctoral degree, or 2.5 or higher as a student at an affiliated school in California that sends students to a Kaiser Permanente facility for clinical rotations.

They must have completed at least 1 academic term, including at least 1 clinical nursing course with a clinical rotation (not a laboratory course).

Both need and merit-based scholarships are available.

U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required; student visas or temporary employment authorizations are not accepted.
