The Kaleva Community & Finnish Heritage Scholarship recognizes graduating high school seniors from the Kaleva Norman School District (KND) who completed their junior and senior years in KND. Students who have been involved in their community and exhibit academic performance and leadership are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Minimum 2.5 GPA

Graduating high school senior from the Kaleva Norman School District (KND)

Completed junior and senior years of high school in KND

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree as a fulltime student

Participate in extracurricular activities and community service

Demonstrate financial need

Proven academic performance, leadership, and achievement Manistee County Community Foundation staff and their family members are not eligible to apply. Advisory committee members involved in the scholarship selection process and their immediate family members are not eligible to receive a scholarship from that fund. Donors and related parties are not eligible to receive a scholarship from funds that they established.
