The Kansas City Scholars - Adult Learner Scholarship is open to residents from the 6-county Kansas City area. Students who are interested in resuming their education at a designated university or community college that is a KCS Postsecondary Network Institution are welcome to apply.

Requirements
  • Resident of Johnson or Wyandotte counties, Kansas, or Cass, Clay, Jackson or Platte counties, Missouri
  • Attend the designated partner institution
  • Undergraduate student, on academic break, or not currently enrolled
  • High school graduate or GED holder
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree full or parttime
  • Aged 18 or older
  • Nontraditional students, who have not earned a bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrate financial need
