Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Kansas entering or continuing at a college, university, or community college in the state.
  • Applicants must be working on a degree in agricultural economics, agronomy, animal science, or a related field.
  • They must provide information on their personal livestock enterprise; activities and leadership in 4H, FFA, or a breed association; school activities, leadership, and honors; community service activities; work experience; their most significant honor or achievement; and their career plans.
  • Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
