The Kansas Military Service Scholarship is available to Kansas residents who served in the military in international waters or on foreign soil after September 11, 2001, are still on active duty or received an honorable discharge, and have provided copies of military discharge papers. Residents who are planning to pursue a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree in Kansas are welcome to apply. Recipients are chosen for their demonstration of financial need.
