The Kansas Teacher Service Scholarship is available to undergraduate students pursuing licensure as a teacher, or currently licensed teachers enrolled in a program leading to a new endorsement or graduate degree, or are planning to teach in an underserved geographic area. Junior and senior-level college students and currently licensed teachers who meet the outlined criteria will be given special consideration.

Requirements
  • Resident of Kansas
  • Currently licensed as a teacher **or**
  • Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student
  • Seeking a bachelor's or graduate degree in teaching, or a new teaching endorsement in elementary education, English language arts, mathematics, science, or special education **or**
  • Planning to teach in an underserved geographic area of Kansas
  • Attending a postsecondary institution in Kansas
  • Agree to teach one year for each year of scholarship support in Kansas Priority is given to junior and seniorlevel college students and currently licensed teachers who meet the outlined criteria.
