About the Scholarship

The Karen Styles Scholarship supports students attending Western Carolina University. Students studying recreational therapy who demonstrate academic achievement are welcome to apply, particularly students who demonstrate active involvement on campus or in the community, an active lifestyle, excellent character, enthusiasm for the recreational therapy profession, and participation in related organizations at the campus or state level.
