The Karl and Irene Hermann Family Scholarship is available to graduating seniors from any Manistee County high school in Michigan. Students with proven leadership abilities and community involvement who plan to pursue post-secondary education in the state of Michigan are welcome to apply.

  • Resident of Manistee County, Michigan
  • Attend Bear Lake, Brethren, Manistee, or Onekama high schools, or CASMAN Academy in Michigan
  • High school senior
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Planning to attend school in Michigan
  • Participation in community service, extracurricular activities, or leadership
  • Demonstrate financial need Manistee County Community Foundation staff and their family members are not eligible to apply. Advisory committee members involved in the scholarship selection process and their immediate family members are not eligible to receive a scholarship from that fund. Donors and related parties are not eligible to receive a scholarship from funds that they established.
