Karla Girts Memorial Community Outreach Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate members of the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) who are preparing for careers in dental hygiene and have been active in programs in the geriatric population.

Requirements
  • This program is open to full-time students who are a student or professional members of the ADHA and enrolled in an associate, baccalaureate, or degree completion program.
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and have completed at least 1 year in an accredited dental hygiene program in the United States.
  • They must be able to display a commitment to improving oral health within the geriatric population.
