Kathryn D. Sullivan Earth and Marine Science Fellowship provide financial assistance to graduate students from any state working on a degree in earth or marine science at member institutions of the South Carolina Space Grant Consortium (SCSGC).

Requirements
  • This program is open to U.S. citizens from any state entering or enrolled full-time in a graduate program at an SCSGC member institution.
  • Applicants must be working on a degree in earth or marine science.
  • They must submit a 3page research proposal that includes a general outline of the project, research methods to be used, goals and expected results, and relevance to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
  • Underrepresented minorities, women, and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
