The Kathy Spadoni Memorial Scholarship is available to LGBTQ+ and allied graduating high school seniors from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington who are seeking a bachelor's degree. Students who demonstrate leadership skills and have a passion for making positive social change are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington for a minimum of three months prior to the application deadline or has lived within the state for at least one out of the five prior years

High school senior

Seeking a bachelor's degree

LGBTQIA+

Proven leadership potential in the LGBTQ+ community

Lack of a broader LGBTQ+ community support system and a passion for making positive social change

Encountered additional barriers to education, including economic, racial, social, geographical, or being politically disenfranchised
