The KCOA Education for the Future Scholarship offers financial assistance to graduating high school senior members of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Students seeking an associate or bachelor’s degree in health-related fields are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to students who are planning for a career as physicians, dentists, optometrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language therapists, respiratory therapists, veterinarians, environmental health, engineers, nurse, pharmacists, social workers, and psychologists.

Requirements

Member of Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma

Minimum 3.50 GPA

Minimum ACT composite score of 25

High school senior attending school in Atoka, Bryan, Choctaw, Coal, Haskell, Hughes, Latimer, Le Flore, McCurtain, Pittsburg, or Pushmataha counties, Oklahoma

Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree

Studying for a degree in a health carerelated field
