Requirements
  • This program is open to Arkansas residents who are currently enrolled as full-time juniors, seniors, or graduate students (master's only) at a college or university in any state.
  • Applicants must be working on a degree in agriculture education, agronomy, biology, botany, city (urban and rural) planning, entomology, environmental concerns (conservation, engineering, law, management), floriculture, forestry, habitat or forest systems ecology, horticulture, land management, landscape design, plant pathology or science, wildlife science, or a related subject.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.25 or higher and be able to demonstrate financial need.
  • Selection is based on the letter (25%), academic record (40%), extracurricular activities and work experience (13%), financial need (15%), recommendations (5%), and conformance with application standards (2%).
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
