The Kekunaʻaiʻaliʻi Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate moral character and kahiau, defined as living a life of selflessness. Full-time undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply. It is the policy of the Foundation to give preference to students of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
