The Kendra Ann Ward Music Scholarship is open to students at all campuses of the Alamo Colleges District. Students pursuing a degree in music and planning to transfer to a 4-year college or university in Texas are encouraged to apply. Incoming freshmen and students who will be playing a musical instrument receive special consideration.

  • Attending any campus of the Alamo Colleges District (Northeast Lakeview, Northwest Vista, Palo Alto, San Antonio, St. Philip's)
  • Seeking an associate degree fulltime
  • Studying music
  • Participation in community service
  • Committed to transfer to pursue a bachelor's degree in music at a university in Texas
  • Maximum Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of less than $6,250
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to incoming freshmen and students who will be playing a musical instrument.
