Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Kentucky who have been active 4-H members for at least 2 years.
  • Applicants must be planning to enroll fulltime at a postsecondary academic or vocational institution in Kentucky and major in a field of STEM. Along with their application, they must submit an essay of 200 to 400 words on the most valuable lessons they have learned from their 4-H experience.
  • In the selection process, the top priority is given to the level of 4H involvement; other factors considered are financial need and academic achievement.
