The Kentucky Early Childhood Development Scholarship is available to Kentucky residents employed in participating early childhood facilities, such as daycares and preschools. Students seeking a professional certification, associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree in early childhood education are eligible to apply.

Requirements
  • Resident of Kentucky
  • Attending a participating college, university, trade, or technical school in Kentucky
  • Undergraduate or graduate student
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree
  • Studying early childhood education or interdisciplinary early childhood education
  • Employed at least 20 hours weekly in a participating early childhood facility or be employed as a preschool associate teacher in a statefunded pre-school program
  • U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or U.S. national
  • No past due financial obligations to KHEAA or to any Title IV program
