Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Kentucky (male and female) over 18 years of age.
  • Applicants must be interested in pursuing 1 of the following activities: 1) jobrelated seminars, workshops, or continuing education programs; 2) educational programs that increase the number of public leadership positions; 3) research relating to labor market trends or issues that face Kentucky business or industry; 4) training for reentering the workforce, upgrading work skills, or changing careers; 5) academic programs for nontraditional students (those not straight out of high school); or 6) literacy or GED programs.
  • They must be currently in or planning a career in the Kentucky workforce and attending a school, college, institution, organization, or nonprofit entity.
  • Selection is based on the availability of funds; the need of the applicant; and compliance with the deadline, eligibility, and funding requirements.
