Kentucky High School Coaches Association Scholarship provides financial assistance to children of members of the Kentucky High School Coaches Association (KHSCA) who plan to attend college in any state and major in education.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors who are graduating from high schools in Kentucky and are the children of current or lifetime members of the KHSCA. Applicants must be planning to major in education at a college or university in any state.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in their 17 core classes and scores of at least 22 on the ACT or 900 on the combined critical reading and mathematics SAT. Along with their application, they must submit a 200word essay on either 1) their reasons for choosing the field of education; or 2) the person who has influenced them the most to further their education.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.

Boys and girls are considered separately.
