Kentucky Highway Industries Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to high school seniors and current undergraduate students who have a relative employed by a member firm of an organization affiliated with Kentucky Highway Industries.

Requirements
  • This program is open to students entering or attending an institution of higher education in Kentucky whose relative has been employed for at least 1 year by a member company of the Kentucky Association of Highway Contractors (KAHC), Kentucky Crushed Stone Association (KCSA), or Plantmix Asphalt Industry of Kentucky (PAIKY).
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Special consideration is given to students who demonstrate a willingness and desire to be employed in the crushed stone, hot mix, or highway and road building industries.
  • Selection is based on financial need (50%), academics (35%), and the essay (15%).
