Requirements
  • This program is open to students between 16 and 25 years of age who are enrolled or planning to enroll full or part-time at a college, university, or technical school in any state.
  • Applicants must have a parent who has been killed or seriously injured as a result of a workrelated accident with a California employer that meets the criteria of the California Workers' Compensation Act, although neither the student nor the parent is required to be residents of California.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement, aptitude, community service, and financial need.
