Kids' Chance of Louisiana Scholarship provides financial assistance to Louisiana residents whose parent was killed or permanently disabled in an employment-related accident and who are interested in attending college in the state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to Louisiana residents between 16 and 25 years of age dependent on a worker killed or permanently disabled in an accident that is compensable under a state or federal Workers' Compensation Act or law.
  • Applicants must be working on or planning to work on a certificate, license, or associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited Louisiana university, community college, vocational/technical institute, or stateapproved proprietary school.
  • Financial need is considered in the selection process.
