The Kids' Chance of Nevada Scholarship is available to high school seniors and undergraduate students who are children of workers that have been seriously injured or killed in a compensable work-related accident or occupational disease. Students planning to pursue postsecondary education either part-time or full-time are welcome to apply. Recipients are chosen for their demonstration of financial need.

  • High school senior or undergraduate student
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree full or parttime
  • Accepted or enrolled at a 2 or 4year college, university, or technical school
  • Aged 16 to 25
  • Child or dependant of an employee who is seriously injured or killed in a compensable workrelated accident or an occupational disease covered under Nevada law
  • Demonstrate financial need
