Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in the city of Monterey and planning to work on a bachelor's degree, either by directly enrolling at a 4-year institution or by attending a community college and then transferring to a 4-year school.

Applicants must submit transcripts, a personal reference, and brief essays on the degree they are seeking and why, their work experience, and any subject they wish the sponsor to know about them.

Selection is based on academic achievement, involvement in extracurricular activities, community involvement, the potential for growth, and financial need.
