About the Scholarship

The Kleiman Family Scholarship program provides need-based scholarships to graduating seniors from designated high schools in Iowa. One female and one male candidate from each high school will be nominated for final selection by the scholarship committee. Students who are planning to attend Iowa State University, the University of Iowa, or the University of Northern Iowa are encouraged to apply.

  • Graduating senior from Jefferson, Kennedy, Linn-Mar, Marion, Prairie, Washington, or Xavier high schools in Iowa

  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Exhibit leadership ability, good character, and academic achievement
