The Knights Of Columbus—A. P. Valtakis Memorial Scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors from Grants Pass, Hidden Valley, Illinois Valley, North Valley, or Rogue River high schools in Oregon. Students who plan to attend a college or university in Oregon and are active members of the Catholic Church are encouraged to apply. Those who were involved in parish and youth programs receive special consideration.

Member of the Catholic church

Minimum 2.50 GPA

Resident of the U.S.

Attending Grants Pass, North Valley, Hidden Valley high schools in Grants Pass, Illinois Valley High School in Cave Junction, or Rogue River High School in Rogue River, Oregon

High school senior

Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree

Planning to attend school in Oregon

Exhibit strong academic achievement and good character

Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students who were involved in parish and youth programs.
