Kona Hawaiian Civic Club Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to Native Hawaiian students, especially members of the Kona Hawaiian Civic Club (KHCC).

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Hawaii who are of Hawaiian descent.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime as an undergraduate or graduate student at a 2- or 4-year college, university, or vocational institution.
  • They must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher when graduating from high school or 3.0 or higher as a graduate student.
  • In the selection process, priority is given to 1) members of the KHCC, including directly related family members; 2) students working on a degree in Hawaiian studies or related fields with an emphasis on the promotion of longheld traditional Native Hawaiian attitudes and values; 3) graduates of targeted schools within the Kona community, and 4) residents of West Hawaii.
