L. Joy Walker Scholarship provides financial assistance to nurses in Kansas who are working on a higher-level degree.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Kansas who are working on a nursing degree.

Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

They must be enrolled in at least 6 hours per semester, but preference is given to fulltime students.

Awards are granted in the following priority order: 1) L.P.N. to R.N.; 2) R.N. to B.S.N.; and 3) graduate nursing degree.

U.S. citizenship is required.

Professional Certification, Bachelor's Degree, Graduate Degree
