The L. Mark Newman Family Foundation Scholarship is offered to undergraduate members of Sigma Alpha Mu who have actively participated in fraternity activities. Students must have completed their freshman year to qualify for this scholarship. Special consideration is given to members of the Mu Chi chapter of Sigma Alpha Mu, with secondary consideration given to members of Gamma Theta and Gamma Rho during years in which Mu Chi is dormant or has no qualified applicants.
