The Ladies' Branch of the New Bedford Port Society Scholarship is available to students whose families have documented ties to the sea or who are descendants of seamen. The scholarship is also open to students pursuing a degree in maritime science or planning to attend a maritime academy. Residents of the Greater New Bedford region of Massachusetts are encouraged to apply.
