Requirements
  • This program is open to Maine residents who are high school seniors or students already attending a college in the state.
  • Applicants must submit brief essays on 1) their interest in the economics and ecology of Maine, including how they plan to apply those interests to their studies and career; and 2) what they want Maine to be like in 30 years and how they would personally want to be involved in shaping it.
  • Financial need is considered in the selection process, but the primary consideration is the applicant's ability to contribute to the economy and the environment of Maine.
