Laura Cleaves Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to children of members of the Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriffs' Association (SBCDSA) who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to children of SBCDSA members who live in the Tri-County area of San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties in California.
  • Applicants must be graduating high school seniors, GED recipients, or students currently enrolled at a college or university in any state.
  • Preference is given to students who can demonstrate financial need through their FAFSA. U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
