The Laura D. Smith National Student Nurses’ Association Award supports former National Student Nurses' Association members pursuing graduate or doctoral degrees in nursing education who demonstrate excellence in scholarship and service. Current members of a national professional nursing association, such as the American Nurses Association, or of an international nursing honor society, including Sigma Theta Tau International, are encouraged to apply.
