The Laura M. Fleming Scholarship provides need-based and merit-based financial aid to graduating high school seniors who are the children of Founders Federal Credit Union members (which serves 10 counties in South Carolina and 1 in North Carolina). Special consideration is given to students who have demonstrated having a positive impact on their community.

Requirements
  • Child of a member in good standing of the Founders Federal Credit Union (member for a minimum of 2 years) which serves Cherokee, Chester, Chesterfield, Lancaster, Laurens, Pickens, Richland, Spartanburg, Union, and York counties in South Carolina and Mecklenburg County in North Carolina
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA
  • Graduating high school senior
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, community service, or church
  • Demonstrate good citizenship Preference is given to students who demonstrate a positive influence in their community and exemplify sound morals and character.
