Laura's Legacy Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of San Luis Obispo County, California who are cancer survivors or family of cancer patients.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of San Luis Obispo County who are graduating high school seniors or adult reentry students and planning to enroll full-time at a college, university, or vocational school in any state.

Applicants must be cancer survivors or a person whose life has been impacted by a family member's battle with cancer.

They must write an essay, up to 750 words in length, describing their experience with cancer, including how it has impacted their life and/or educational goals.
