The Laurel Metro Alumni Chapter Scholarship is for applicants who graduate from high school in the Laurel Metro Alumni area in Mississippi. Students who demonstrate leadership in school and community and are seeking a bachelor's degree are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to incoming freshmen and children of The University of Southern Mississippi alumni.
