The Laurene Ann Opdyke Nursing Scholarship is available to college students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing, or students enrolled in a diploma nursing program that leads toward licensure as a professional registered nurse. Applicants planning to attend an accredited 4-year school in the U.S. with a bachelor's in the nursing program are eligible to apply. Recipients are chosen for their academic standing. Special consideration is given to applicants with financial needs.

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's of nursing program as a sophomore or junior, OR;
  • Enrolled in a diploma nursing program leading toward licensure as an RN
