Leanna Dorworth Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to women who are members or children of members of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and interested in working on a degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or other fields of STEM.

Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors and undergraduates who have completed less than 30 credit hours at a North American college or university and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Applicants must be working on or planning to work full or parttime on an associate or bachelor's degree in a field of STEM, especially industrial or manufacturing engineering.

They must be student members of SME or the child or grandchild of a member.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.

U.S. or Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or student visa is required.
