LECMPA Scholarship provides financial assistance for college or graduate school to children of members of the Locomotive Engineers and Conductors Mutual Protective Association (LECMPA).

Requirements
  • This program is open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students whose parent is a member of both the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) and its LECMPA. That parent must have been a member for at least 2 years and the other parent must be a BLET Auxiliary member.
  • High school seniors must submit copies of their SAT or ACT score and their GPA. Continuing or returning undergraduates and graduate students must submit transcripts.
  • All applicants must submit a short essay about their interests, goals, extracurricular activities, and anything else they wish to share about themselves.
  • Selection is based on academic record, leadership, character, and personal achievement.
