The Leroy McKinney, Jr. Memorial Scholarship is available to male Black or African American graduating high school seniors or graduates of Battle Creek Central High School in Battle Creek, Michigan. Students who demonstrate satisfactory academic performance are welcome to apply.

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor’s degree Preference is given to applicants pursuing degrees in business, engineering, or are pursuing studies through a preengineering program. Further preference may be given to nontraditional students and applicants who demonstrate financial need.
