Les Best Dependents' College/Vocational Scholarship provides financial assistance to dependent children of members of the Ohio Civil Service Employees Association (OCSEA) who are interested in enrolling at a college, university, vocational/technical school, or union apprenticeship program in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to the dependent children of OCSEA members who are enrolled or planning to enroll full-time at a college, university, vocational/technical school, or union apprenticeship program in any state.
  • Applicants must submit transcripts that include SAT or ACT scores, a letter of reference, and an essay of 500 to 1,000 words on a topic that changes annually but relates to an issue of concern to labor unions.
